Welcome Carissa!

We are excited to welcome Carissa Chui to the ProAACtive team! She is working with us full time and leading our work supporting AAC within schools.

Carissa comes to us with a broad skill base working as an educator in Singapore before studying speech pathology.

Carissa has been a speech pathologist for 4 years and has worked in the disability sector within schools and private practice. She firmly believes that everyone has the capacity to express themselves, and she is committed to working towards increasing access to communication for her clients. Carissa enjoys learning and is constantly engaging in professional development to ensure that she provides a service that will leave a positive impact on her clients' everyday lives. Carissa has experience with different communication systems including LAMP, TD snap, WordPower, Proloquo2Go and PODD.

Carissa enjoys working collaboratively with families and other allied health professionals, and she believes that a multidisciplinary approach is essential for a successful communication journey.
